MMA designed a downtown flagship location for the popular Sleepy Bee Cafe. The design was greatly informed by the patterns by which honey bees build their hives, utilizing curves and masses that are both organic in feel, and regular in module. This geometric approach applies to the custom banquette design, ergonomic waiting wall, and bisecting bar.
